Passive income residence

D7, at an unhurried pace

Income, housing and insurance turned into a file the consulate accepts the first time.

Four documents decide this route: your income, your housing, your health cover and your record. We assemble them as one file rather than four errands.

For retirees and anyone living on pension, rental or investment income.

Who this is for

Steady income you do not have to work for

The minimum moves with the Portuguese minimum wage, and dependants raise it. We confirm the figure that applies to your household.

Regular passive income at or above the Portuguese minimum wage: EUR 920 a month for the main applicant, plus 50% for a spouse or partner (EUR 460) and 30% for each dependent child (EUR 276)
Income from pension, rental, investment returns or similar, evidenced over time rather than as a one-off balance
Accommodation in Portugal: a twelve-month lease or a property deed
A clean criminal record certificate, apostilled or consular-legalised
